Here is a page of the websites and/or programmes we use at ODC. There are some other cool websites here for you to look at too. Thanks to Gifted Kids Waikowhai for the links.

A really good place to start is New Zealand' own TKI website. There is a page for teachers, parents and students. The link here will take you to the student's page where you will find links to find out more about what it means to be gifted, current competitions, career opportunities, scholarships and general websites.

Words

Create pictures with words and analyse how words are used (try copying a piece of text into wordle, see what happens!)
www.wordle.net

And moving on up from wordle, check out www.tagxedo.com - you may need to install then install again (just to be sure !) the latest versions of Silverlight (I think) - tagxedo will prompt you to do this.
